This is the moment when we can officially inform that we are safely back home. Next academic year has already started, so filled with new power we can study
We left a lot of help and great people we had met in Nepal.
During the reconnaissance our volunteers received the information about the needed medical equipment. Now it’s about time to buy it. During the next days, our volunteers will try their best to both run the classes for kids and collect necessary equipment.
Two of our volunteers went to Piskar to see the brand new building of the health post which was completely destroyed last year during the earthquake.
We have been running classes in two schools in Katmandu: Srongtsen Bhrikuti Boarding High School i Mangal Deep Boarding School for several days.
After months of preparing, collecting sponsors, taking care of formalities and packing, the day of 30th of July has come – the day of our departure.
100kg is on the way to Nepal and we still have to pack 200 kg more. We didn’t expect that we will manage to collect so many medical equipment. Rest of things plus your personal belongings we neet to put into 6 suitcases and 6 backpacks. Time to start playing puzzle!
Lucky six of over a dozen volunteers will fly to Nepal. It’s such a big challenge for them. Holding tickets in their hands they start to realize what is going on.
